I’ve photographed this family so many times that this felt more party and hanging out than photo session! We had fun at Union Market and wrapped up with treats!
Baseball Weekend
I wanted to share some personal work today - it was baseball weekend! When you have a totally non-competitive kid with a disability, travel baseball seems out of reach. However, thanks to the amazing Challenger baseball program through Little League, my daughter and her sweet bestie got to play in Virginia Beach - and the little siblings got to play on the beach!
Family of Four: Arlington, VA
It’s fun to photograph kids as they get older, especially as they cross the line from crazy babies and toddlers into big kids who listen! This was my third session with this family of four, and the preschooler was just a baby at our first session!
My favorite shot is the last one in this series, with the blurry kids framing mom and dad <3
Newborn Baby Girl: Arlington, VA
This session was delightful. Big brother was FAR more cooperative than expected, and he gets all the props for being an awesome preschooler. Mom and Dad are lovely - this was something like my fourth photo session with this dear family. And sweet baby girl is beautiful and has a bad case of FOMO - she hardly closed her pretty eyes!
Baby Number 3: Arlington, VA
Third babies are a different kind of photography. Parents are less overwhelmed. Older siblings run around. Chaos almost always ensues. There’s no nurseries but extra cuddles. (And if you have a third child with a real nursery, props to you! Call me! I want to witness this!)
Baby O wins as most chill baby ever, but again, he’s a third!
What a joy to capture these memories for his family!
Baby Sister in Arlington, VA
This sweet six month old girl, her brother, and her parents were a dream to work with. This sweetie has SO much personality and made me laugh the whole time. Her nursery is gorgeous and her family lives near some beautiful flowering trees which are the perfect picture of spring in Arlington and DC.
